The coat of arms of Cetingrad is "Azure a charter argent with five seals gules pendant from it on strings proper".
The diploma is a symbolic depiction of the charter signed on the New Year 1527 at the Assembly of Cetingrad (Cetingradski sabor) when the Croatian nobility elected Archduke Ferdinand Habsburg as the King of Croatia. The charter sealed with the seals of the highest Croatian nobility and the Great Seal of the Kingdom (with checky shield) is among the most important documents of the Croatian statehood and is preserved in the State Archives in Vienna.
