The ceremonial flag is a vertical dark red flag with seven rectangular tails, all bordered golden, with the coat of arms in the middle and the name of the muniicpality above and below it. The sources does not provide a quite clear view of the flag, so the above drawing is partially my interpretation.

Former symbols of Lupoglav

The former symbols of Lupoglav are prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi Općine Lupoglav, adopted on 14 December 1994 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 28 December 1994 in the local official gazette Službene novine Grada Pazina i Općina Cerovje, Gračišće, Lupoglav, Motovun, Sv. Petar u Šumi i Tinjan, No. 14 (text).
There is no mention of such symbols in any of the subsequent Municipality Statutes, neither was this Decision invalidated.

The flag is described in proportions 2:1 (vertical), dark blue, with a 2 cm golden border all around and a 6 cm fringe along it as well. The coat of arms is set in the centre of it, of 2/3 of the flag's height in height.

The coat of arms is described to be in stylized shield shape, showing in a light blue filed on a green mount a castle with four towers connected with walls, all with red roofs. In the base is a silver wall with a red roof connected with an angle to the right tower. In the frontal wall connecting two towers are double doors with a semi-circular top. Over the castle to the left is raising a silver cliff. The shield is bordered golden.
