Sveti Lovreč (Italian, San Lorenzo del Pasenatico) is located about 30 km west of Pazin, between Poreč and Rovinj. Located inlands from Vrsar, it has access to the coast only deeply in the Lim Channel. It has just about 1,400 inhabitants.

The symbols of Sveti Lovreč are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut općine Sveti Lorenč (text), adopted on 16 July 2009 by the Municipality Council and published on 20 August 2009 in the County official gazette Službene novine Istarske županije, No. 7.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.
The flag (photo) is described in the Municipality Statutes as in proportions 1:2, light blue with the coat of arms, bordered with a golden yellow line, in the middle of the flag at the crossing point of the flag's diagonals, on both sides of the flag.

The coat of arms (municipal website) is "Azure a grill or".
The grill is the attribute of St. Lawrence, the patron saint and namesake of the municipality.
