Flag of Tinjan

The symbols of Tinjan were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.

The flag (photo, no longer online) is in proportions 2:1 (vertical), very pale blue with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the lower half of the flag.

The coat of arms (municipal website) is "Azure on a base vert a tower argent behind walls of the same".
This is based on the historical coat of arms. There are no embattlements on the tower but consoles.
