Flag of Velika

The symbols of Velika are prescribed by Decision Odluka o izmjenama i dopunama Odluke o uporabi grba i zastave Opčine Velika, adopted on 9 April 2002 and published the same day in the Municipality official gazette Službeno glasilo Opčine Velika, No. 1. Decision Odluka o uporabi grba i zastave Opčine Velika, published in 1999 in Službeno glasilo Opčine Velika, No. 2, might have prescribed other symbols.
The symbols are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut o izmjenama i dopunama Statuta Općine Velika, adopted on 9 April 2002 by the Municipality Assembly and published the same day in Službeno glasilo Opčine Velika, No. 1.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, white with the coat of arms in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Gules an arm armoured argent embowed holding a sabre also argent hilted or and in chief dexter a crescent decrescent argent and sinister a mullet or".
