The symbols of Čađavica were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, red with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Vert a rake in pale, a pitchfork and a scythe in saltire all argent and in base a ploughshare or".
Čađavica was granted in 1852 market rights. The coat of arms may have been granted at the same time. Certainly it looks similar in style like many coat of arms of the agriculturaly progressive settlements granted in the Hungarian part of the Habsburg Monarchy in the time.
