Lukač is located just north of Virovitica, with 4,500 inhabitants, some 500 in the village of the same name.

The coat of arms is "Gules on a mount vert a winged bull or passant guardant nimbed argent".
The winged bull is the attribute of St. Luke the Evagelist, the patron and namesake of the municipality.
