The symbols of Nova Bukovica are described in Article 6 of the Municipality Statutes Statut Opčine Nova Bukovica, adopted on 14 July 2009 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 15 August 2009 in the County official gazette Službeni glasnik Opčine Nova Bukovica, No. 9.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.
The flag is in proportions 1:2, dark blue with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.
