About the Civil Association of Taiwanese in Argentina

The Asociación Civil de los Taiwaneses en Argentina (Civil Association of Taiwanese in Argentina), also known as Asociación Civil Chinos de Taiwán en Argentina (Civil Association of Taiwanese Chinese in Argentina) and also as Asociación Civil de los Chinos Libres en Argentina (Civil Association of the Free Chinese in Argentina) was established in 1972, in the Chinese neighbourhoud of Belgrano, Buenos Aires City and gathers the following institutions:

  • Asociación Juvenil de los Chinos Libres en Argentina (Youth Association of Free Chinese in Argentina)
  • Colegio Chino (Chinese School)
  • The Cheng-Hwa offices
This organization was set up to bring together the ever growing Chinese community in Buenos Aires.
