Description of the flag

Rottnest Island is a Class A Reserve (In Western Australia) governed by the Rottnest Island Authority Act, 1987 (the Act) which creates the Rottnest Island Authority as a statutory body to control and manage the Island, reporting to the Minister for Tourism for Western Australia.

There is a Rotthest Island flag which can be seen on a photo here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mrbdamien/2550767775/

The flag is white with a logo above the words "ROTTNEST ISLAND" / "WESTERN AUSTRALIA" in black. The logo shows a blue strip of sea to the left of green land separated by a wavy white shoreline. Over the top edge of the blue sea is a yellow sun symbol (rough circle surrounded by rough incomplete rings) which is 'countercharged' white on the blue section, over the bottom edge six vertical stripes arranged to give the impression of a fish, also becoming white against the blue. Above the land is a yellow lighthouse on a hill.
