I rescaled this image from the municipal website. This 1:2 flag was first flown in 2001. The symbolism of the logo is as follows (translated from municipal website):

Three ideas guided its creation: the bucolic character of the environment, the strong tradition of its wood artisans, and the vivacity and dynamism of each new generation who enriches our community. The name MANDEVILLE is sculpted in noble wood. Wood was and remains the natural richness that energizes the local economy. Living water evokes richness and purity of our hydrographic network. The forest band underscores the fact that the municipality is crowned by a faunal reserve, a commercial exploitation zone and several square kilometers of public forest. This forest becomes an island to salute the braided cloth of this community. Mandeville is not a transiting place; it is a destination. Its new signature should not be of an administrative or protocol character. It should be inspired by this destination where everyday country life, outdoors, economical vitality and leisure live side by side.
