Meinier

[Flag of Meinier] image by Pascal Gross

On the wavy shield base, divided three times by white and green, on blue a crenellated yellow tower, accompanied at the top left by a six-pointed yellow star.

Adopted in 1912, the emblem is a reminder of the "bastie de Boilletbot" and the former marshes and meadows of Meinier. The points of the star symbolize the hamlets of Meinier, Corsigne, Carre-d'Aval et d'Amont, Compois and Essert.
