Banner:
On a recent trip to Frankfurt I stayed at a lovely hotel in the village of Kelsterbach, Kreis Groß-Gerau (near the airport). In the center of town there was a small flag display, including Kelsterbach, a red-white-red triband with ratio of stripes approx. 1:3:1 with the Kelsterbach arms shifted to top within the central stripe. All of the flags were vertical.

Meaning:
The oak tree is the symbol of the former Imperial Forest of Dreieich (three-oaks), to which the village historically belonged. The tinctures were fixed in 1925 on occasion of the approval of the arms, they are those of the arms of the Counts of Isenburg, who ruled the village for a long time since 1418.
The arms were granted in 1925.
