Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, a double-headed crane Argent armed Or, in base superimposed by an inescutcheon Argent. The inescutcheon is charged with a linden tree Vert issuant from an embowed base Vert.
Meaning:
The linden is representing Großen-Linden borough and is canting. The crane is representing Leihgestern borough.
The arms are officially in use since 1980.
