Shield Argent, an otter passant Sable, in base a bar wavy Azure, chief Sable charged with four 6-point stars Or.
Meaning:
The arms show a canting otter above a wavy bar, representing the nam given Otter creek in the municipality. Ottrau means "meadow of otter". Acc. to Ralf Hartemink the stars are representing the 6 former municipalities of Ottrau.
