Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, issuant from base a triplemount Argent, upon mountain a crane statant of the same, flanked by a sugar beet Or in dexter base and an initial "C" topped by a coronet Or in sinister chief.
Meaning:
The beet is referring to the local sugar mill. The heron probably is alluding to the "Reiherbeize", a special exercise of falconry , where the heron is the pray animal. The event took place in a local hunting lodge of the Landgraves of Hesse.
