The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a red over white over red horizontal triband with ratio 1:3:1 with the coat of arms shifted to the hoist.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a red field is a silver(=white) gate flanked by two towers having triangular roofs and also flanked by two embattled towers.
Meaning:
According to source the arms are based upon the main seal which existed since 13th century. Probably this pattern has been taken for the coat of arms since 19th century.
