The municipality of Valdaracete (646 inhabitants in 2014; 6,431 ha) is located in the south-east of the Community of Madrid, on the border with Castilla-La Mancha (Province of Guadlajara).

Symbols of Valdaracete

The flag (photos) and arms of Valdaracete are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 11 May 1989 by the Government of the Community of Madrid and published on 1 June 1989 in the official gazette of the Community of Madrid, No. 129, p. 7 (text), and on 19 August 1989 in the Spanish official gazette, No. 198, p. 26,794 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: In proportions 2:3, white with the municipal coat of arms in the center, in full colours.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. An olive tree vert on a base of the same, 2. Gules three wheat spikes or per fess. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
