Introduction

Fornelos de Montes is made of seven parishes, the main of them being San Lourenzo de Fornelos de Montes, which explains the use of St. Lawrence's grill and palm on the arms. The bridge must be the Bustelos (a village located in the Estacas parish) bridge, rebuilt in the Middle Ages on the remains of a Roman bridge.
