The municipality of Cubillas de Santa Marta (304 inhabitants in 2009; 2,400 ha) is located in the northeast of Valladolid Province, 25 km from Valladolid.

Symbols of Cubillas de Santa Marta

The flag and arms of Cubillas de Santa Marta are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 6 July 2001 by the Municipal Council, signed on 20 September 2002 by the Mayor, and published on 4 October 2002 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 193, p. 13,004 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of a red cross throughout cantonned white with a blue wavy stripe.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1a. Argent a church gules masoned sable, 1b. Or a bunch of grapes vert, 2. Waves azure and argent. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
