The Maritime Auxiliary Patrol, organized by the Spanish Naval League, is composed by of sports and leisure crafts that want to collaborate in labors of aid and salvage while they are at sea. The principles and philosophy of the Patrol are assistence to salvage of the human life and struggle against pollution.

Flag of the Maritime Auxiliary Patrol

The flag of the Maritime Auxiliary Patrol is modelled on the Spanish flag. In the upper red stripe is the blue inscription "PATRULLA AUXILIAR", in the lower red stripe is the blue inscription "MARITIMA". In the centre of flag is an upright blue anchor superimposed by a red and golden steering wheel and flanked by blue letters "L" and "N". The anchor overlaps the yellow stripe.
