History of Louis Carlini

The Corsican shipowner Louis Carlini set up in 1925 a partnership with the Société Provençale d'Affrêtement et d'Armement in 1925.
In 1930, Louis Carlini operated on his own MS La-Corse between Marseilles and Corsica. The ship was sunk in the basin of the harbour station of Marseilles in August 1944.

House flag of Louis Carlini

Paul Bois [boi03] shows the house flag of Louis Carlini as white with three ascending thin diagonal blue, white and red stripes, a Moor's head in canton and the black letters "LC" & Cie", "LC" interlaced, in lower fly. The Moor's head recalls Carlini's Corsican origin.
