Presentation of Andritsaina-Krestena

The municipality of Andritsaina-Krestena (Ανδρίτσαινα-Κρέστενα, 14,109 inhabitants in 2011; 41,920 ha) was formed in the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities of Alifeira (Αλίφειρα, 3,829 inh.), Andritsaina (Ανδρίτσαινα, 2,152 inh.) and Skillounta (Σκιλλούντα, 15,931 inh.).

Skillounta is named after the ancient town of Scillus. The seat of the former municipality was in the town of Krestena (Κρέστενα, 5,783 inh.).
Its flag (photo; Kokkonis website) was yellow with the municipal emblem.
