"Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited (第一三共株式会社 Daiichi Sankyō Kabushiki-kaisha) is a global pharmaceutical company from Japan. Daiichi Sankyo was established in 2005 through the merger of Sankyo Company, Limited (三共株式会社 Sankyō Kabushiki Kaisha) (established as Sankyo Shoten in 1899) and Daiichi Pharmaceutical Company, Limited (第一製薬株式会社 Daiichi Seiyaku Kabushiki Kaisha) (established as Arsemin Shokai in 1915)". In 2007 Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited and Kyowa Hakko Kogyo Co., Ltd. agreed to transfer to Kyowa Hakko all shares of Daiichi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. Daiichi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. was established on December 29, 1951 and manufacture (imports) and sales pharmaceuticals, veterinary medicines, food additives, feed additives, cosmetics materials, IVD reagents, and chemical intermediaries. Kyowa Hakko Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established on July 1, 1949.

This seems to be the flag of of Dai-Ichi Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd (third flag from left to right) (Source) a company established in February, 1992, which is a joint venture invested by Tianjin Angel Chemicals Group Co., Ltd. and Dai-Ichi Kogyo Seiyaku Co. It features the company's logo in white over a horizontal blue background.
