The town emblem was adopted on Sep 28th 1957 by Notice No 18 and the flag was adopted on Dec 17th 1966 by Notice No 5. The purple flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 王 O of Oji. The circle symbolizes a spirit to love a peace, an unlimited future development and a traffic convenience. The flag proportion is 7:10.
