The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 31st 1986 by Notice No 51 and No 52. The maroon flag has a yellow town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana キ Ki of Kikuyo. It represents a peaceful pigeon and the growing town.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The height of the emblem is 3/5 height of the flag.
