The Village of Veenwoudsterwal, which is partly within the Municipality of Dantumadeel and partly within the Municipality of Tietjerksteradeel, adopted its flag in 2013

The flag of Veenwoudsterwal was adopted in 2013. It consists of five horizontal stripes of green, red, blue, red and green in the ratio 8:1:7:1:8. In the center of the flag is a yellow leaf with a red veins, outlined in black. The flag is derived from the village coat of arms.
