Norwegian flag exhibition in Zagreb

If you happen to be in Zagreb or near by soon you may want to know the following. If you considering visit it, ask me off for details...

Between 7th and 16th February in the Ministry of Defence art gallery "Zvonimir" I am preparing an exhibition of Norwegian flags in organization of the Croatian-Norwegian Society "Željko Takač" on occasion of marking the centenary of the Norwegian independence.

The exhibition shall consists of some fortyish large posters showing the current Norwegian flags, the flags of Norwegian counties and the development of the Norwegian flags since early 19th century until today, with explanations provided in Croatian and English.

If it all goes well, the opening ceremony shall be quite an event since many important people from political and diplomatic circles promised to attend it and I also hope that a number of flag-friends from around Zagreb shall be there too (and some of whom I shall have chance to meet in person for the first time).

Be sure that I shall keep you posted about anything related to the exhibition in media and I shall gladly provide full report to the list how it went.

It is planned that the exhibition shall be set up in several other Croatian cities during this year and hopefully it shall also be made in Norway - the details I shall provide in time.
