The arms are Argent with tree billets Gules ordered per fess over base wavy of Azure and Argent, in chief Vert charged with three bezants Or ordered per fess. Mural crown argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "VILA DE TAVEIRO".

The arms are Or an eradicated tree Vert fruited Gules, flanked by a millwheel Gules with paddles Sable (dexter) and a bunch of branches Vert tied Gules (sinister). Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "AMEAL - COIMBRA".
