Coat of arms

Shield Or (golden yellow), in central chief a canteen fixed on top of a baton- both Gules and attributes of patron saint São Roque - between a sugarcane Vert at dexter, a grapevine Vert fruited Purpure at sinister and a cogwheel Purpure in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black capitals "S. ROQUE - FUNCHAL".

São Roque Commune is one of the ten communes of Funchal Municipality ; it had 9385 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 7.5 km².
