Coat of arms

Shield Or, a cross fleury Gules charged with a Greek cross Argent, in chief a hunting horn Sable tied Gules in each corner, in base an olive branch Vert fruited Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "ASSUMAR".

Presentation of Assumar

Assumar Commune is one of the four communes of the Monforte municipality (q.v.); it had 651 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 63.7 km².
