Shield Vert, a palm frond Argent, surrounded by three trefoils Or ordered 2:1. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "TREVÕES".
Meaning:
The trefoils (Port.: trefos) are canting elements.

Trevões Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of São João da Pesqueira Municipality; it had 540 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 21.6 km².

Coat of arms

Shield Vert a fess engrailed Or, charged with three grapevines Purpure leaved Vert; in chief a fleur-de-lis Argent; in base two olive branches in saltire, fruited Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "ESPINHOSA".
Meaning:
The engrailed fess is canting, because the name of the commune means "thorny", which is "engrailed" in heraldry. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint.
