Description of the flag

The flag of Shenandoah County, VA, flying in front of the county office building in Woodstock, is green with the county seal with some kind of wide scroll with an inscription on it beneath. The seal can be seen at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shenandoah_County,_Virginia, but on the flag it appeared to be depicted in green and gold rather than blue and gold, as shown on Wikipedia.

Seal

[County Seal] image by Paul Bassinson, 30 March 2019

The seal is made of a yellowish ring with blue outlines. On the ring is the county name and county motto which reads "Industry with Plenty". In the center depicts a woman holding a cornucopia in her right hand, and a sickle in her left hand. Above her are thirteen five-pointed stars. Under the main seal is a banner with the same color scheme as the seal. On the banner is the county and state name, with the founding date at the bottom.
